Theme: “Universities’ Responsibility for Sustainable Development Goals and World’s Complex Challenges”
Due to the ongoing global outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), The 6th International Workshop on UI Green Metric World University Rankings (IWGM 2020) will be offered virtually.
This event will provide an opportunity for participating universities to showcase their innovation and best practices relative to the latest issues in the management of setting and infrastructure, energy, waste, water, transportation, education and research in your green campus. There will be three additional sub-themes for the parallel sessions during the Workshop: Green Campus Design in Universities, University Impact on the Sustainability of Urban and Rural Communities and Innovations for Biodiversity Conservation in Universities.
The Organizing Committee hereby invites participating universities to present their papers in the parallel sessions or exhibit their posters in the sessions provided. Interested universities should send their abstracts. The scientific committee will select the abstracts and decide which ones will get the opportunity to be presented and exhibited.
The UI GreenMetric Network Members should also submit their abstract and papers through the following website:

The non- UI GreenMetric Network Members should submit their abstract and papers through the following website:

The Scientific Committee will notify submitters/authors of their conference participation opportunities.
Accepted papers will be published in a proceeding book and will also be made available online on our websites (greenmetric.ui.ac.id and iwgm.znu.ac.ir).
Please note:
- Abstracts and full papers should be submitted through the online abstract and full paper submission system.
- The length of full papers is 5-7 pages.
- For Parallel Sessions, presenters should give their presentation soft files to the technical assistant during the break before your session. Presenters will not be permitted to use their own laptops. You must have your presentation material on a USB. Slides should follow the standard PowerPoint size (16:9).
- For Poster Session, please bring your printed poster with you to the conference. Poster size: standing (vertical/potrait) A0 (84,1 x 118,9). You can exhibit your poster beginning from 08.00 a.m. on the first day of the conference, and must take it down by 17.15 p.m. on the same day. Please note that we cannot send or receive posters by post. Any remaining posters will be disposed of.
